What is home heating?
Home heating means using one or more sources of heat to provide warmth and comfort in your home, apartment, or other areas. Heating is typically provided by a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system or heaters powered by electricity, natural gas, or other fossil fuels.
Self-contained, portable heaters are usually electrically powered and can be moved from room to room. Permanently installed heating units such as steam heat radiator systems are mounted to the floor or wall in buildings. Home heating also refers to restoring the temperature to a comfortable level especially during cold weather such as winter or in cool climates.
